On track schedule for the weekend:

  • Thursday 2:55 - 3:55 Practice #1

  • Friday 8:00 - 8:45 Practice #2

  • Friday 1:05 - 1:25 Practice #3

  • Friday 1:50 - 2:05 Qualifying - Dylan Murcott qualified, will roll off the grid in P5. Tune in for the race at IMSA.com and watch the live feed

  • Saturday 2:25 - 4:25 Continental Tire 120 at The Glen Race - Everyone was watching the sky. Rains or slicks? The race started under dry conditions but before the minimum drive time elapsed, the skies opened up. Some teams opted to come to the pits for rain tires knowing a driver change would still be required. Shortly thereafter, the race was under Red Flag - the downpour which brought out FCY then lightening in the area brought out the Red Flag - cars on pit lane. Once the officials headed back to stations, cars were released and the pits opened. The RS-1 crew won the race off pit lane and I was in P1 for the restart. During the ensuing laps, an electronics issue surfaced. As the green flag flew for the restart, I felt as if I were sitting still and dropped multiple positions. Down on power and unable to shift, the goal was to stay on track to take the checker. Finished in P9, last car on the lead lap.
