SEASON OPENER OF TA-2 TRANS-AM SERIES IN THE BOOKS
A spectacular run at Sebring ended in disappointment. Machavern had moved through the field and was closing in on P2 with 7 laps to go when the rear end broke sending the #24 Ford Mustang behind the wall. Machavern stated, "Not the ending we were hoping for but exciting nonetheless. Car felt great, we will get it done in Homestead in a months time. Thanks to Heritage Motorsports, Unifirst, PPG and Traqgear Racing Innovations for their support and Tommy Riggins and the crew from Riggins Engineering for the prep and trackside support."
