Mitchum Motorsports Excited to Take On ST Field at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca
Sebring, FL – Mitchum Motorsports looks to take on some of the world’s best drivers in one of racing’s most diverse and competitive fields as they head into Round 3 of the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge taking place around the twists and turns of Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. Mitchum Motorsports will be bringing its fast and feisty BMW 128i race cars piloted by Dillon Machavern and Dylon Murcott in the #10 machine and Lee Carpentier and Dane Moxlow in the #11.
Dillon Machavern #10: “I’m really excited to be in California for my first time and to get the opportunity to learn a new track, especially one as famous as Laguna Seca. Some changes have been made to our Mitchum Motorsports BMW 128i’s so we look to hopefully put up a strong fight against what have been so far some very fast Mazda MX-5s in the ST field. It’s going to be really exciting!”
Lee Carpentier #11: “After a challenging weekend at Sebring and a long break, it will be great to get back in the car at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. This track should really suit our Mitchum Motorsports 1 Series BMW so keep an eye out for us at the front of the pack!”
Round 3 of the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge will take place from Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca on May 3rd. The 2.5 hour race will start at 3:45 pm EST and will be broadcast on May 11th on FOX Sports 1 at 10am EST. Don’t miss it!
