Dillon Machavern Looks to Tackle Sebring in Spec Miata

Altamonte Springs, FL/February 5, 2014 Dillon Machavern looks to keep a strong momentum moving forward after a great start to the year in the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge opening round at Daytona International Speedway, where he piloted one of Mitchum Motorsports’ BMW 128i race cars to a solid finish. This weekend, Dillon goes back to his old stomping grounds in a sense, as he will be taking the wheel of a 2001 Mazda Miata of Panic Motorsports in the SCCA Spec Miata (SM) class as well as the STL class at Sebring International Raceway. The event will certainly give Dillon some precious extra track time ahead of his next outing in the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge, as the series makes its next stop at the same venue.4 “I'm excited to get back to my roots in the always competitive Spec Miata class.” Dillon remarks. “I'm really looking forward to racing with a great group of guys, but I’m also going to be getting valuable track time to prepare me for the upcoming Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge race in March.” The SCCA event takes place on February 8th at Sebring International Raceway in Sebring, FL.
