Round 2 - Sebring 120 at Sebring International Raceway
Looking forward to this weekend’s race. The team wasted no time in making strides setting up the No.28 RS1- The Race Development Center Porsche Cayman GT4 MR during test and practice sessions in advance of qualifying on Friday morning. Wednesday Update - Two test sessions went well, continue to sort out the car.
Thursday Update - We continued to tweak the car during the two practices sessions in preparation of tomorrow’s qualifying session. During the morning practice session we posted the 4th fastest time and followed that up with 6th fastest in the afternoon session.
Friday Qualifying - Did not qualify due to an incident during final practice. Crew worked magic to get the car race ready and we will start last.
Friday Race Wrap-Up - After starting last, the car ran great - the RS1- The Race Development Center crew did an amazing job putting it back together. Ran as high as P4 and finished P11 due to contact from another car in the hairpin with less than a handful of laps remaining. Needed a little bit of Irish luck; a good points day nonetheless.
Next CTSC race will be on May 5th at Circuit of the Americas
