2017 BMW Endurance Challenge at Daytona
What an awesome way to start the 2017 IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge season with a 4-hour endurance race. The RS-1 team provided Dylan Murcott and myself a well sorted car. The No. 28 Porsche GT4 MR rolled off the grid in P4, was the overall leader at the 1-hour and 2-hour marks and finished P4. Our strategy to take 4 tires, fuel and a driver change in the final hour may have proved beneficial had the race gone green flag the balance of the race but a late full course caution and a green-white-checker finish relegated us to a P4 finish.
