Machavern Continues Podium Streak at Lime Rock Park
Dillon Machavern and the No.24 Heritage Motorsports / UniFirst / PPG / Traqgear Racing Innovations Ford Mustang left Lime Rock Park with a continuation of achieving podium results and earning points towards the 2015 Trans Am Series TA-2 championship. Machavern ended the 67 lap 100-mile race standing atop the second spot on the podium.
The Heritage Motorsports team agrees the results thus far have been favorable and prove that both Machavern and the Riggins Engineering crew are a combination to be taken seriously. Machavern is currently in second place in the 2015 Trans-Am Series TA-2 standings heading into Round Five at New Jersey Motorsports Park and looks to adds to his points total.
“I was happy to bring home a podium finish at a Lime Rock. If you couldn’t make it to Lime Rock Park to watch the race live, it will be on CBS Sports Network and then uploaded on YouTube,” stated Machavern.
Machavern will get his next opportunity to gain ground in the standings at New Jersey Motorsports Park on June 14th. With eight more events on the calendar, there is plenty of racing opportunity to continue to gain ground.
